Reverend Larry Neil Knobloch

Larry Neil Knobloch, son of Mr. Charles Knobloch and Mrs. Annette Foerster, was born in Austin, Texas. He was educated in Houston, Elgin and Giddings schools and graduated from Giddings High School. After graduation, he enlisted into the United States Air Force as a Security Policeman and served his tour of duty in Abilene, Texas. Following his Air Force duty, he held several jobs in management and sales in the Giddings area

He was married to Cynthia (Cyndi) Fritsche in 1987 and through the years they have been blessed with four children.

While living in Giddings, he attended Immanuel Lutheran Church and served as Sunday School teacher, Bible Class leader and Elder of the church. In March 1997, he heard the Call into the ministry and began satisfying his pre-seminary classes at Blinn College in Brenham. He attended night classes for two years before making the move to continue his education at Concordia University Wisconsin– Mequon at their satellite campus on the seminary campus, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He graduated Cum Laude of CUW in May 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and began summer Greek class at Concordia Theological Seminary the following month. He received the assignment to serve as the Deferred Vicar of Grace Lutheran Church, Crockett, Texas. He completed graduation requirements for his Masters of Divinity Degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana and was Called and Ordained into the Holy Ministry at Grace Lutheran Church of Crockett.

Pastor Knobloch served at Grace, Crockett until 2008 when he was Called to serve at St. Peter Lutheran Church of Bowie, Texas. He served at St. Peter for 13½ years until he was Called to serve at Trinity Lutheran of Riesel, Texas.
